Abstract

This study aimed at evaluating the Seventh Grades Palestinian Science textbook from teachers’ perspective. The researcher tried to find out the influence of some variables, such as: gender, academic qualification, teachers experience,and the number of training courses that the teacher participated in, on the perspectives of teachers. For the purpose of this study a sample of ( 51) teachers responded to a questionaire consisted of ( 62 ) items divided of the following six domains: general view(layout) of the book, introduction, content, educational techniques, enhancing students attitudes towards science, evaluation questions, Number of lessons, laboratories, and the readability of the book.
